Joseph P. Trovato, D.M.D. graduated dental school in 1990, and since then has been practicing as a general dentist in Kearny, NJ. His practice focuses heavily in the treatment of periodontal disease and restorative dentistry. Dr. Trovato holds Fellowships with the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Dentistry for Children. He is also a Diplomat of the American Society of Pain Management.

Dr. Trovato currently lectures on the topic of periodontal disease, and the newer diagnostic and treatment modalities, stressing the importance of early detection, and early treatment, as well as the need to educate the patient. Dr. Trovato spent 2 years as the host of a live weekly radio show, “Tomorrow’s Dentistry Today”. He also has a weekly newspaper column in which he answers questions from readers who write into the newspaper.
